R I V I N G T O N . H O M E  is the passion project of Northern girl and founder L U C Y . S M I T H who, having always been in touch with her creative side, finally decided to take the plunge and turn her passion into a small business. Having moved back to North West England (after over five years living and working in the Middle East) Lucy found herself awestruck by the beauty of the Great British countryside, and more appreciative than ever of her homeland that she had missed for so many years. This appreciation for the natural world on her doorstep combined with her love of sewing was the inspiration behind R I V I N G T O N .   H O M E .

The name R I V I N G T O N . H O M E was inspired by the local area close to where Lucy grew up and where nature really is at its best. (FYI for those of you that know Lucy, she felt that (despite the alliteration) "Horwich Home" didn't quite have the same ring to it!)
